STAY AND PLAY

Stay and Play sessions are an essential part of a Children's Centre. They are fully inclusive and therefore anyone can attend them. They can be for Parents, Grandparents, Nannies, Childminders and Carers. Through South Ascot Children's Centre we run 2 sessions, one for the 0-3's and one for the 0-5's.

The sessions are planned for termly, and all link to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). This means that each stay and play session will have a focussed area of development for the children, for example physical development.

It is through the Stay and Play sessions that we can access a wide reach of families, we can find out from Parents/Carers what they would like to see more accessible through the Children's Centre and get feedback on services.

To make services more easily accessible to local families we like to regularly invite other professionals along to the sessions, for example the Dental Nurse, Bookstart, Nutritionist, Grow Our Own, Police Community Support Officer etc.

All Parents and Carers are welcome, and we look forward to meeting you!
